What is YRA? Young Racers of America, Inc., was created simply due to the need of so many children that have a passion to participate and lack the funds to do so. Some children dream of playing pro-football or baseball when they grow up. They join the local little leagues and practice hard; they grow up, get scholarships and play in college with the dream of making it to the pros. Now what is the difference between children who want to play ball compared to children who want to race? Non-profit corporations that will help make their dreams come true! Almost every sport or performing arts program has a financial support system to help them along the way; racing was left for those whose families had money or connections. We wanted to help!

Who we want to help. All children regardless of race or creed that require financial assistance to compete. Go-Kart, Bandoleros, Legends, Jr. Drag or Thunder Roadsters are divisions used as stepping-stones for becoming a NASCAR, SPRINT, IRL, DRAG or CHAMP SERIES driver. If you have ever had the opportunity to go out to the tracks to seem them, you would be amazed! The most talented and ambitious kids are out there practicing and racing. Your "future stars" are there now! Can you imagine having to stop or never having the chance to simply even begin because the financial burden it has placed on your family? There are so many who do just that. They are forced to put away their dreams due to the fact that there are no resources to help them continue on.
